Hello! I am a clinical licensed social worker, psychotherapist, educator, author, play therapist, and storyteller of the soul! I like to combine clinical expertise with a touch of magic — blending techniques like EMDR, play therapies, Jungian archetypes, and more with creativity, symbolism, and imagination!

I like to think that therapy with me feels like stepping into a safe realm where healing and wonder meet — a place where the heavy becomes lighter and new paths open. Like the EvenStar of myth, I carry the values of being a gentle light into the shadow, helping children, teens, and adults remember their strength, rediscover joy, and find their way back to Sovereignty.

With warmth, humor, and deep presence, I prefer to help clients explore both the playful and profound sides of themselves. Whether through sand-tray worlds, dream work, storytelling, or soulful conversations, I invite others to see that healing isn’t about perfection — it’s about wholeness, courage, and learning to live freely!

Administrative Coordinator Intern

Hello! My name is Tony (he/him), and I’m currently a student in the Social Work Program at Western New Mexico University, on my path to becoming a therapist. I’m also the Administrative Coordinator here at Evenstar Counseling. If you need help with consultations, scheduling, onboarding and intake questions, insurance matters, or general inquiries—I’m your go-to person! I’m truly excited to be part of this amazing team and look forward to connecting with each of you.

My journey in the mental health field has taken me through roles in residential treatment, youth programs, and even economic development. This fall, I’ll begin my pre-practicum working with outpatient treatment focused on substance use, PTSD, and domestic abuse—work I’m deeply passionate about. Outside the office, I’m a proud dad of four wonderful neurodivergent kiddos. I love playing and listening to music, geeking out over fantasy and sci-fi, hiking New Mexico’s beautiful trails, and spending time with my family. I believe in the power of connection, curiosity, and a little bit of humor along the way.
